In this case, the 4 International Trade Committee voted to vote. The U.S. Department of Commerce in December 29, 2017 is expected to be the case to make preliminary countervailing and anti-dumping preliminary ruling on the case in March 14, 2018.

            In October 26, 2017, Bonney Forge Corporation and the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union in October 5, 2017 to submit the application, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced on imports from the mainland, Italy and Taiwan area China forged steel to start anti-dumping investigation on imports from the mainland at the same time, China the forged steel initiated countervailing investigation. The case involving the United States tariff lines 7307.99.1000, 7307.99.3000, coordination 7307.99.5045 and 7307.99.5060 under 7307.92.3010, 7307.92.3030, and the product number 7307.92.9000 and 7326.19.0010 under some products.
